Train Rides

Train rides are a wonderful way to enjoy the gorgeous scenery of the Hocking Hills and experience the first method of long-distance mass transit in our nation's history. The Hocking Valley Scenic Railway operates train rides that go between Nelsonville and Logan on a rail that was once part of the Hocking Valley Railway's Athens Branch. In 1930, the railway was merged into the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway.
